PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the system cost and to lighten the burden of operation on operators of respective POS terminal devices by connecting an image processor which composes various image data to the POS terminal devices by a communication network such as a LAN together with a server, making it easy to print various image data corresponding to transaction data on receipts on the respective POS terminals, and allowing the POS terminal devices to share the composing function for image data. SOLUTION: CPUs 31 of POS terminal devices 30a and 30b when performing POS terminal control processes store various POP image data sent from the server through the LAN after an image input process in POP image files 33a in RAMs 33, print the POP image data on the backgrounds of receipts by article registering processes, and print POP images by article sale quantities on the receipts in checkout processes. |
