PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt excellent in durability and small in a positional deviation at the time of superimposing colors and an image forming device using the intermediate transfer belt. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer belt 1 is formed like an endless belt, in such a manner that a sheet which is made of a resin base material and has a thickness of 100-200μm is joined by a joining part 2. On the inside surface side of the intermediate transfer belt 1, a reinforcing guide 3 is stuck to one or both ends by a sticking means 4 such as a double-sided adhesive tape. However, the reinforcing guide 3 is formed on the inner periphery of the belt 1, except the joining part 2 as the seam of the belt.
