PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily wrap an electricity generating parts-laminate body with an insulator body, improve productivity, and provide a thermal battery, which comprises an electricity generating parts-layered body produced by layering a plurality of unit cells and a heating agent and the insulator body in the circumferential face of the side of the laminate. SOLUTION: A window part 16, which is openable in a single swing manner, is formed in an insulator body 7 and an opened part 17, having approximately the same cross-sectional shape as that of an output lead plate 3', is formed in the window part 16 to lead out the output lead plate 3'. With this structure, each output lead plate 3' can be taken out of the window part 16 by merely previously setting the window part 16 as a hole for taking out the output lead plate 3' and moreover, the output lead plate 3' can be protected from combustion heat by closing the window part 16. |
