Two alternate mounting methods and -devices for mounting rails. Mounting rails (2) and -devices (5) conforming to standards restrict amount of mounting points and possibilities of various measuring, musical, telecommunications, audio, videorecording and similar devices (5). By adding new pitch holes to mounting rails (2) and using either adjustable cage nuts or cage nuts containing two nuts in their respective pitch holes, new points of mounting (8) can be achieved. As the result, amount of mounting points and possibilities can be drastically increased to cater various ventilation, cable pass-thru or similar needs between devices (5). The shape of new pitch holes preserves structural integrity of mounting rails (2). |
