FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: foam is loaded from above into foam- precipitation apparatus, converted into unsteady condition, e.g. mechanically, and passed through wire electrodes, on which high- frequency current (50 to 5000 Hz) is imposed. Volume of suspension is brought to 1-2% original foam volume and foam product is separated into water and sediment in the settling step. Apparatus gas alternate-current source, wire electrodes, and foam-perturbation means placed above electrodes. Bottom part of apparatus accommodates settling chamber with water- and sediment-outlet pipes. EFFECT: intensified foam precipitation. 3 cl, 5 dwg, 2 tbli
