PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material of which the coloring concentration and the coloring sensitivity are high, which is excellent in coloring property, and in addition, of which the plasticiser resistance is favorable, and which is excellent in image preserving property by making a developer and a sensitizer specified compounds. SOLUTION: As a developer which reacts with a leuco dye and develops a color at the time of heating, a compound represented by the formula I (in the formula, R<1> is halogen or an alkyl groups with the number of carbon atoms of 1-4.) is used. As the compound represented by the formula I, 4- chloro-4'-hydroxy diphenyl sulfone and 4-methyl-4'-hydroxy diphenyl sulfone can be counted. As the sensitizer which promotes the reaction between the leuco dye and the developer, a compound represented by the formula II (in the formula, R<2> and R<3> are hydrogen or a methyl group.), 1,2-di(phenoxymethyl) benzene, 1,4-di(phenoxymethyl) benzene can be counted. |
