PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fit-feelings of individuals at grasping the grip by being softened at heating and deformed in accordance with compression force from the outside, and solidified in conformity with the deformed configuration by cooling the grip keeping the deformed configuration. SOLUTION: The grip 1 is provided on the grasping part 5 of a casting rod 3 being sporting goods, and the grip 1 is softened at heating and formed of so-called thermoplastic material that deforms and keeps its configuration in accordance with the compression force when compression force is applied to the heated grip 1 from the outside. Also, the deformed grip 1 is solidified in the deformed configuration when cooled. As a result, a self-grasping shape can be formed with ease on the grip 1, so that a grip of a sporting utensil giving a good feeling of grasp and a good feeling of fit is realized. |
