PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluorinated compound, capable of efficiently carrying out activation of a catalyst. SOLUTION: This method for producing a fluorinated compound comprises fluorinating CCl2 =CHCl, CF2 Cl-CHCl2 , CF3 -CHCl2 , CF3 -CH2 Cl or CF3 -CH3 or a mixture thereof with hydrogen fluoride by using a chromium-based fluorinated catalyst. In the method, feed of a reaction raw material is stopped at the point of the time when lowering of activity of the catalyst is recognized in reaction process and an oxygen-containing gas is fed to the reaction system and after activation, feed of the oxygen-containing gas is stopped and feed of the reaction raw material is restarted. |
