PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form images maintaining a density of a developer constant in a simpler constitution, by forming images on a recording medium based on input image data, and variably setting an interval before a next operation after a previous operation on the basis of a sum of densities of the images. SOLUTION: An image data input from an external device 200 is input to an image data-adding part 102. A sum of image data in pages is obtained, and a value is output to a control part 104. Since the amount of toner consumed is proportional to the sum, the amount is operated with the use of the sum and a constant stored for every size of papers in a memory 112 beforehand, and a time before a next image is started to be formed is determined. When the sum of the image data of images is large and the amount of a developer consumed is large, the interval before a next page is started to be processed is set long to secure a time necessary for replenishing the developer. |
