A multi-shot sport pistol which is operated using CO2 gas or compressed air has a projectile magazine which can be displaced transversely with respect to the firing direction and is acted on by a magazine spring in the feed direction. The positive control of the feed movement of the projectile magazine is effected by a stepping switching mechanism which is driven by the recoil movement of a sear. When the shot is fired, the cocked sear is released by operating the trigger and strikes a valve which is in consequence opened. When the sear is pushed back by hand or automatically by the gas pressure into the cocked position, the locking of the projectile magazine in the firing readiness position is released via the stepping switching mechanism, so that the projectile magazine is automatically moved onwards by the magazine spring by one division of the projectile retaining chambers. |
