Longitudinal cutting machine

The cutting machine has cutter holders on a traverse. Each individual cutter holder has two claws (13,14) spaced out from each other by which is releasably attached to rails (12) fitted on the traverse (11). One claw (14) can move relative to the cutter holder. This claw can be locked by a setting device (28,30). When this device is released, the movable claw permits the cutter holder to be turned so that the other claw comes away from the rail and the cutter holder can be removed from the traverse.
