The transfer device has grips which can be moved longitudinally, vertically and in a lifting direction. It has grips (5) on a movable carrier (8). The carrier has three degrees of freedom. The transverse rod (33) engages with a transverse slide (19). The lifting rod (36) engages with a lifting slide (16). The longitudinal rod (30) engages with an auxiliary slide (22) which itself engages with a longitudinal slide (13). The fixed base mounting (23), the transverse slide, the lifting slide and the longitudinal slide are in a straight line.
