PURPOSE: To produce quantities of optical fiber connectors excellent in abrasive quality in large quantities, by relatively driving a device so that the movement of an optional point can have the movement locus of a point on the circle of a radius R with a center of rotation, being moved on the circumference of a radius (r) with a reference point as a center, as a rotation center. CONSTITUTION: The meaning of the following codes are as follows, R: the radius of a circumference where the rotation center O of an abrasive board 18 is moved, O0 ,: the center position of the circumference where the rotation center O is moved, and (r): a distance from the rotation center O of an optional point P of the board 18. The rotation angular velocity of the rotation center O of the board 18 is sufficiently larger than that of the board 18, and the radius R is sufficiently smaller than the radius of the board 18. The movement of the optional point P has a movement locus of a point on the circle of a radius R with a center of rotation, being moved on the circumference of the radius (r) with the center of a reference point O0 as a center, as a rotation center. A pushing pin 26 for pushing an optical fiber retaining part (H), and a coil spring 27 for energizing the pin 26 downward are provided to change the rotation position of a spring adjusting bolt 28 to adjust the degree of compression. |
