<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title composition of good workability, outstanding in mechanical strength development in short-term and long-term ages and stabil ity, consisting mainly of calcium aluminate and aluminum sulfate. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition consisting mainly of (A) 95-50pts.wt. of calcium aluminate and (B) 5-50pts.wt. of aluminum sulfate. This composition is useful for liming materials and for application on water-supply pipes etc. The fine aggregate to be used in the lining material is e.g., sand of sea, moun tain or river origin; being pref. sand with little alkaline salt. The composition for the binder and the aggregate is pref. such as to be 100-300pts.wt. per 100pts. wt. of the binder of the aggregate, being also pref. 150-250pts.wt. of said aggre gate in terms of mechanical strength development, durability etc. The lining process is normally and preferably carried out through centrifugal forming. The curing after lining is pref. made at a R.H. of >=70% under drying-free condition and at 5-30 deg.C.</p> |
