PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate land/groove recordings, to enable address signals to be reproduced easily in both recording and to enable information reproduced signals of high quality to be obtained. SOLUTION: The optical substrate of this optical disk has a groove 1 and a land 2 as recording tracks. The groove 1 is roughly formed in the same width and both side walls are in accordance with address information in a first area. The first area of the groove 1 is formed by making the same angular position as that of the groove 1 of at least one side a head end. Moreover, snaked parts corresponding to respective bits of address information are formed by being synchronized between adjacent grooves 1.
