PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method of product sales promotion good in cost efficiency and minimum in quality that a customer gets confused without using a paper overlay, a tag, a label, an emblem or other notices. SOLUTION: This electronic price label(EPL) 14 is equipped with a lighting means, and an LED is provided on the front of a housing so as attract customer' s attention to an article item related to the EPL 14. A control circuit 16 controls the application of electric power to the lighting means in response to a command from a remote control computer 12 or the motion of a push-button switch provided on the EPL housing. |
