PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer medium capable of clear color printing and of forming a transfer pattern having excellent scuff resistance. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer medium comprises a release layer, an intermediate layer and an ink layer sequentially laminated on a base material. The ink layer contains a resin cured in reaction with a coloring agent and a curing agent, a curing agent for curing the resin, and a resin for obstructing reaction between the curing agent and the resin. And, a coating amount of the release layer is 0.005 to 0.4g/m<2> . |
