PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device compact and inexpensive by providing a residual toner recovery means with a slightly larger radius than the outside diameter of a drum and almost concentrically disposing it in a printing mechanism module with the drum. SOLUTION: A guide 41 guiding a recovery tube 12 and almost concentrically supporting it with the drum 7 so that the winding central angle thereof with respect to the drum 7 becomes almost 90 deg. is arranged at the lower part of the front-side frame 30 of the printing mechanism module 2. Besides, a by-pass aperture 50 is formed near the toner hopper of the frame 30. Then, the tube 12 and a recovery member are disposed round to the back side from the front side of the frame 30 through the aperture 50 and connected to a connector fixed to the toner hopper 10. Besides, the driving system of the recovery means is not mounted at the front side of the frame 30. Thus, the drum 7 can be inserted and pulled out with respect to the module 2 without making the recovery means such as the tube 12 and the recovery member interfere with it. |
