PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which the state/alarm control and the system time broadcast of a GPS receiver are performed precisely by a method wherein system time information at the inside of message data is separated by a base-station control processor so as to be broadcast to every processor at a base station. SOLUTION: A GPS receiver(GPSR) 2-1 and a GPS receiver(GPSR) 202 receive information on a present position and a position from a GPS satellite, and they generate various clocks which are required for a personal communication service(PCS) so as to be supplied to respective blocks at a base station(BTS) 10. Then, a base-station control processor(BCP) 20 receives message data in the state/alarm control and the system control of the GPS receiver, system time information at the inside of the message data is separated at the BCP 20 so as to be broadcast to every processor 22 at the BTS 10. In addition, the BCP 20 periodically checks a change in state/alarm information so as to be reproted to a base-station control device at a host block. Thereby, a base- station system can be operated smoothly. |
