PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound useful as a reagent for optical resolution or an asymmetric reaction reagent capable of removing a salt content in an aqueous solution and an organic solvent by a simple operation and inexpensively mass-producing desalted solvent and having high generality not depending on molecular structure of racemic modification. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R1 is H, etc.; R2 is H, etc.; Z1 is O, etc.; Z2 is O, etc.; (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is 0-7], e.g. (1R,2R)-O-[(1,2- diphenyl-1,2-ethanedioxy)borane], N-(N'-methacryloyl)-7,13-diaza-15- crown-5]phthalamide ester. The compound of formula I is obtained as a polymer by acylating, e.g. a compound of formula II, further acrylating or alkylating the resultant compound and subjecting the resultant compound to coupling to afford a monomer of borate substance and subjecting the monomer to asymmetric addition polymerization reaction. |
