PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a writing tool using as an aqueous ink a water-resistant ink composition giving printed images excellent in water resistance and realizing the water resistance just after written. SOLUTION: This writing tool uses as an aqueous ink a water-resistant ink composition comprising (1) 10 pts.wt. of a water-soluble dye compound and/or an organic pigment compound, (2) 2-30 pts.wt. of an organic silicon compound obtained by hydrolyzing (A) 100 pts.wt. of a nitrogen atom-containing organic group-having hydroltzable silane of the formula: YR<1> m SiR<2> 3-n [R<1> is a 1-8C nonsubstituted or nitrogen-free substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<2> is a 1-4C alkoxyl group of an acyloxy group; Y is a nitrogen atom- containing organic group; (m) is 0 or 1] or its partial hydrolyzate, and (B) 5-200 pts.wt. of a hydrolyzable silsane of the formula: R<3> n SiR<4> 4-n (R<3> is a 1-8C nonsubstituted or nitrogen-free substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<4> is a 1-4C alkoxyl group or an alkoxy group; (n) is 0, 1 or 2] or its partial hydrolyzate, and (3) 30-10,000 pts.wt. of water. |
