PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a correction date obtaining process which spends a lot of time to be obtained, at the time of correcting and controlling the color misresistration by performing an image recording operation based on the correction data obtained at the last color misresistration correction time, in the case a difference between the state of the device at the last color misresistration correction time and the state of the device at the present time is within a prescribed extent. SOLUTION: When a start-up command is given to the device, a time checking sequence is started, the present time is read from a built-in clock, then, the time when the previous image position correction data stored in a time storing part 20 is called out and compared with the present time. An elapsed time obtained in such a way, that is, the elapsed time after the previous image position data is calculated is compared with the normal value. In the case the elapsed time is not more the normal value, all of the basic control is omitted, a simplified control is performed. In this case, it is decided that the device does not come to generate a secular change, then, by transmitting the previous image position correction data stored in the correction data storing part 22 to recording control parts 2 to 5, the recording operation is instantaneously performed. |
