FIELD: production of protective and decorative coatings. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises waste of production of polystyrene by emulsion method and low-molecular epoxy diane oligomer as film-forming. Waste comprises 97% of polystyrene and 3% of sodium oleate as emulsifier. Composition also comprises esters of phthalic acid as peptizing agent; mixture of ethyl acetate and toluene at their mass ratio 1:(3-4) as solvent and product of hydrolytic polycondensation of gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane in cyclohexanone at their mass ratio 1:(8.1-10.3) and hardener. Said hardener is mixture of polyamine chosen of diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine, polyethylenepolyamine. On the base of the proposed composition oil-, benzo-, acid- and alkali resistant coatings on metal, wood, concrete surface may be prepared. EFFECT: improved quality of product. 2 tblm
