PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for vehicle with its extremely wide illumination angle by continuously connecting light distribution due to the light from a first reflection face and light distribution due to the light from a second reflection face on light distribution characteristics as the headlight for vehicle. SOLUTION: Light distribution characteristics generated from a first reflection face 3 has a light distribution widthβof 40 degrees each on the left and right in vertical direction. If light distribution characteristics generated from a second reflection face 4 has a light distribution widthγeach at the left and right in horizontal direction similarly, an angleαformed by an optical axis X of the reflection face 4 is near 60 degrees with respect to an optical axis Z of the reflection face 3. By setting thus, light distribution of both reflection faces 3 and 4 are continuously connected, and comprehensive light distribution characteristics from the right of 30 degrees to the left of 90 degree can be provided. A headlight 1 for vehicle is symmetrical on the left and right, the left and right symmetrical light distribution characteristics are provided from the left of 90 degrees to the right of 90 degrees with a pair being comprehensive, and the same visibility is provided with respect to left and right bent curved paths. |
