<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a full-color toner having satisfactory fixability without coating a fixing roll with oil, having high glossiness and transparency and capable of satisfactorily preventing offsetting at high temp. by using a specified wt. or more of binder resin, in which the ratio of the weight average mol.wt. to a number average mol.wt. is a specified range and having the weight average mol.wt. of the specified range. SOLUTION: This color toner consists essentially of a binder resin, a colorant and wax. The binder resin contains >=70wt.% binder resin having a weight average mol.wt. (Mw) of 15,000-70,000. The ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average mol.wt. (Mw) to the number average mol.wt. (Mn) is 15-30. In the case of Mw/Mn<15, offsetting is liable to occur. In the case of Mw/Mn>30, satisfactory glossiness and transparency may not be ensured. When the Mw is <15,000, it is difficult to ensure satisfactory anti-offsetting property. When the Mw is >70,000, satisfactory glossiness and transparency may not be ensured.</p> |
