<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and to improve heat radiation by suppressing resonace on the upper face of a cover for a disk unit by heat conduction rubber. SOLUTION: The disk unit attaching structure is constituted of plate-like heat conduction rubber 2 put on the upper surface of a disk unit 1 attached to a personal computer body 4 and a fixing tool 3 screwed into the body 4 so as to press the rubber 2 close to the upper surface of the unit 1. When a motor of the disk unit 1 for a hard disk drive(HHD) is rotated, vibration due to the rotation is transmitted to an upper cover, the cover is resonated, but the resonance is suppressed by the elasticity of the rubber 2 and generated noise is reduced. Heat generated on the unit 1 is conducted from the fixing tool 3 to the body 4 through the rubber 2 and radiated from the body 4.</p> |
