<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease of visibility due to complete disappearance on a display unit and to improve a man-machine interface controlling a screen to an intensity of the degree capable of visually recognizing even in a light off-state. SOLUTION: The recorder comprises a calculating means for capturing data to be recorded to calculate as prescribed, and a display unit for displaying data based on an output from the calculating means. The recorder further comprises a timer means 8 for generating a signal at each lapse of a predetermined time, a trigger signal generating means 9, an operating key means, and an intensity control means 10 for controlling intensity of the display unit 5 relating to at least one of signals generated from these means. The means 10 alters the intensity of the unit 5 to a standard screen (normal intensity) or light off more (intensity of the degree capable of visually recognizing the screen). This alteration is executed by receiving signals from the timer 8, key and the means 9. The timer is lowered to the degree of visually recognizing after a predetermined time when there is no trigger and no key operation in the state reset to the standard screen.</p> |
