PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the material land the method for forming the transfer image requiring no postexposure and postheating and enhanced in reproduction performance of the transfer image by utilizing the differences in tackiness between the exposed parts and unexposed aprts of a photosensitive layer to form laminated transfer images and forming the plural photosensitive layers and raising the viscosity of ht photosensitive layer nearer to a support than that of the farther layer at the time of the image transfer. SOLUTION: At least 2 photosensitive layers containing a colorant are formed on the support and the laminated transfer images are formed by utilizing the differences in tackiness between the exposed and unexposed parts, and the layer nearer to the support is made higher in the viscosity than that of the farther layer at the time of the image transfer. These colored photosensitive layers are made of a photopolymerizable or photodimerizable composition, and the viscosity at the time of the image transfer is, preferably, 100,000cPs, especially, 20,000-50,000cPs. A method for raising the viscosity of the layer nearer to the support is attained by increasing a colorant to binder ratio or enhancing a binder to polymer ratio. |
