Large pneumatic slide-valve

The large slide-valve (4) has a pneumatic power supply (5) with an inner slider (3) with a ring-shaped groove (2) into which an O-sealing ring (1) fits. The ring comes to rest at a pre-defined point on the valve. Each side (7) of the O-ring has a groove-shaped recess (6) extending from and over the outer radius (9) towards the side, and then radially towards the inner radius (8). The shape and extent of the recess forms a throttle point with the valve shortly before the slider reaches the end-point. Several recesses are located equidistantly around the ring circumference.
