[Also in Divisions B5 and C3] An adhesive tape has a water-soluble adhesive layer composed of a homogeneous mixture of at least one water-soluble polymer and as elasticizer at least one hydroxyalkylene ether of a polyol with 3, or more hydroxyl groups. Water-soluble polymers specifically exemplified are polyvinyl pyrrolidine, polyacrylic acid and dimethylhydantoin-formaldehyde resin. The compositions are applied as solutions to cellulose triacetate film. |
