Dry-type multiple disc clutch assembly for motor vehicles

The assembly has a cover(28) which is coupled to a fly wheel(2). A set of movable pressure plates(29) are arranged between the cover and flywheel along the axial direction. A diaphragm spring(30) and elastic support mechanism energises the pressure plates to friction sides. The elastic support mechanism is provided with a stud pin(60) and a core spring(62). A pressure unit formed with a lever part(30b) extends from a toroidal board part(30a) , releases pressure. The elastically supported toroidal part moves against the cover when pressure is released.
