<p>The invention describes novel l-aryl-5-(substituted alkylideneimino)pyrazoles of the common formula (I), wherein preferably R1 represents cyano, nitro, or halogen; R2 is R9S(O)n group in which n is 0, l or 2 and R9 is alkyl, preferably methyl- which is substituted by halogen atoms which are the same or different up to full substitution of the alkyl moiety. R3 is hydrogen or alkyl. R4 is phenyl or heteroaryl, optionally substituted by one or more hydroxy substituents, halogen, alkoxy, alkylthio, cyano or alkyl or combinations thereof, whereas preferably R4 is phenyl which is at least substituted by 3-hydroxy or 4-hydroxy. R5 is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen. R6 and R8 are hydrogens. R7 is halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl or haloalkoxy. X is a nitrogen atom or CR14 in which CR14 is hydrogen, halogen, cyano, alkyl, alkylthio or alkoxy. The invention further describes processes to make the compounds (I), compositions of the compounds, and methods of use of the compounds (I) for the control of arthropods, nematodes, helminths, or protozoa.</p> |
