PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grain oriented magnetic steel sheet having highly stable magnetic properties by a producing process with a decarburizing annealing stage by the conventional continuous annealing obviated. SOLUTION: As for the method for producing a grain oriented magnetic steel sheet free from primary coating, a cold rolled steel sheet obtd. by subjecting a hot rolled sheet to annealing or cold rolling for two times including process annealing without executing annealing to regulate its sheet thickness into a product one and having a componental compsn. contg., by weight, 0.005 to 0.05% C, 2 to 4% Si, <=0.01% Al, <=0.2% Mn, <=0.04% S and <=0.01% N, furthermore contg., at need, one or >= two kinds among <=0.3% Cu, <=0.2% Sn, <=0.1% Sb and <=0.05% Se, and the balance substantial Fe is substantially applied with a separation agent for annealing hard to form an oxidizing layer without executing continuous decarburizing annealing and is then subjected to high temp. batch annealing in a nonoxidizing atmosphere. |
