摘要

FIELD: quantum electronics; microwave-field excited gas lasers. SUBSTANCE: electrical discharge section that has active element tube is made in the form of trough waveguide. Tube is placed between two halves of trough waveguide at small angle to its longitudinal axis. One end of tube is fixed in holder affording smooth control of this angle. Ends of tube and laser mirror are placed beyond trough waveguide. Diffusion and convective cooling is used for active element. EFFECT: improved design.
