<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing dibenzixepin and a dibenzoxepin derivative having antioxidative activities, antiinflammable activities, activities ameliorating cerebral function and bronchodilative activities under a mold condition in a short time in a good yield by using a substituted aceptophenone and irradiating a light in a liquid ammonia in the presence of a base. SOLUTION: The objective compound of formula II is obtained by irradiating a light to a compound of formula I [X is a halogen; Y is O or S; R1 to R8 are each an alkyl, an aryl, a halogen, a lower alkoxyl, (N-lower acyl) amino, etc.] in the presence of (B) a base such as alkali metal alkoxide (concretely, t-butoxy potassium, etc.), etc., in (C) liquid ammonia by using a high-pressure mercury-vapor lamp. For example, the reaction is carried out by using >=1eq. component B based on the amount of the component A.</p> |
