<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly bring the width of this strip rubber material near to its set point and improve its quality on the basis of the difference between the measured width of the strip rubber material extruded from extruders and its set point and the variation of the difference per unit time. SOLUTION: By widthwise shifting respective strip rubber materials A and B extruded from respective extruders 1 with the driving mechanism 3c of a movable guide 3a, the guided width of the rubber material is changed. Further, a first material width measuring device 4 measures the single body widths of the respective strip rubber materials A and B, while a second material width measuring device 5 measures the total width of the respective strip rubber materials A and B, which are overlapped with each other by means of a guide mechanism 3. After that, a first and a second controlling parts connected with the respective extruders 1 and the first material width measuring device 4 control respectively the material extruding speeds of the respective extruders 1 and the material guide width of the guide mechanism 3 on the basis of the difference between the measured widths of the respective strip rubber materials A and B and the set point of the strip rubber material and the variation of the difference per unit time.</p> |
