PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square-shaped rice ball wrapping body for making a rice ball to be a housed content visible even in a wrapped state and arising a purchasing desire to a demanding person. SOLUTION: For this square-shaped rice ball wrapping body, sheet-like food 5 is incorporated in a transparent almost rectangular bag-shaped cover 1 leaving both edge parts, the rice ball 6 formed in a square shape is wrapped so as to position the sheet-like food 5 on an outer peripheral surface excluding both end faces of the food 6 by the bag-shaped cover 1 and further, both edge parts of the bag-shaped cover 1 are fixed on the outer side of both end faces of the housed food 6. It is preferable to fix both edge parts of the bag-shaped cover 1 by welding. Also, further, it is preferable that the film 2 of the outer side part of the bag-shaped cover 1 is a synthetic resin film provided with tear directivity and a cut band 2b is formed by making a pair of cuts 2a at the end part of the film 2. |
