INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method which provides accuracy of information recording with a recording medium having a magnetic recording layer and an optical recording layer and can confirm tampering of recorded information and forgery of a magnetic record card. SOLUTION: In a method for recording information on the same substrate of a ticket or a card by a magnetic material and a material containing infrared rays absorbing coloring matter respectively, the same information is recorded in such a manner that the former records on a magnetic recording layer arranged on the substrate by the magnetic recording method, and the latter records on the substrate by using an ink jetting ink containing an infrared rays absorbing coloring matter by the on-demand type ink jet printing method so as not to be visually distinguished substantially or be difficult to distinguish. By comparing these records, tampering or forgery of the ticket or the card can be confirmed.
