PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head for ink jet that will experience seldom malfunctions and is capable of being readily manufactured. SOLUTION: A print head for ink jet comprises a semiconductor layer 36 having a first surface 44 and a second surface and a heat actuator 42 is formed on the semiconductor layer 36. An ink ejection chamber 52 is provided to a position corresponding to the heat actuator 42. The heat actuator 42 is addressed by respective switching device 48 connected thereto with a conductive trace 46. When a power source is supplied to the heat actuator 42 by virtue of the operation of the switching device 48, ink drop is ejected from the ink ejection chamber 52. |
