<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily avert the occurrence of a failure even when the structure receives external force by projections, etc., in waste or when heavy machinery travels or swivels above the structure in order to lay and level off the waste, protective sand, etc., and to obviate the impairment of an impervious function even when the structure is subjected to large deformation. SOLUTION: This impervious structure is installed to cover the bottom ground 20 of storage facilities, such as waste disposal plants or storage reservoirs and is constituted to prevent the outflow of the internally stored water and the sewage from the waste 21 to the outside. In such a case, the impervious structure comprises impervious sheets 12 and upper side pavements 13 and lower side pavements 24 to hold these impervious sheets 12 in a sandwich form. The upper side pavements 14 are preferably composed by water permeable pavements.</p> |
