The procedure for growing and marketing plants intended to be replanted in decorative trays consists of sowing plants (5) in a mass of soil(1). This earth is contained in an internal rigid container with open-work walls (2). The internal container is placed in a rigid external container (7) with full walls leaving a space between the two containers enabling the development of the roots (6) of the plants. The plant assembly is marketed with the two containers for the user to extract the internal container in order to plant them into a decorated container. The growing procedure enables mature or semi-mature plants to be sold and transplanted, using their own soil, into decorative containers.
