PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a system without requiring many DFB type LDs by making a light-emitting source that has a broad generation characteristic in a wavelength area that is used for signal transmission and a large number of narrow spectrum light that is taken out by a comb-line filter from the light emitting source signal transmission light sources. SOLUTION: An optical fiber amplifier A3 amplifies light that is made incident on optical fiber 2 from a light-emitting source (LED) 1. A large number of rays that have λ1 to λn narrow spectra is acquired, when it is passed through a comb-lien filter 4 that has a transmission band in a certain interval. A large number of intervals of the light beams, i.e., light beam widths of a spectrum are decided by the characteristic of the filter 4. The filter 4 closely performs temperature control to stabilize the wavelength of a passing area. An optical fiber amplifier B5 amplifies each optical spectrum after the filter 4. After dividing filters 6 and 8 divide the multiple beam light into λ1 to λ2 light beams. external light modulators 7 and 9 perform intensity modulation of each light beam, composites it and generate wavelength multiple light beams. |
