PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature information generator for visual data analyzed result that generates feature information concerning the arrangement and form of picture object and overlappingly expresses it as a graphic. SOLUTION: A data base 1 is defined as an information source, information conversion is performed at an information converter 7 based on an information conversion definition 5 set from a user interface device 3 by a user, the result is outputted to a display device 9, the semantic feature such as the tendency or pattern in the information converted result from the information converter 7 is interpreted by a feature information generator 11, and a feature object or a feature image is generated and displayed while being superimposed on the result on the display device 9.
