PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the printer charging device which can calculate charging data more accurately according to the use state of a printer. SOLUTION: A code analysis part 16 performs bit map expansion to expand data of one page in a frame memory 18. In this frame memory 18, black-and- white data are assigned to 0 and 1 respectively. A pixel count part 17 calculates the number (n) of bits of black in the frame memory 18. In this process, the number (n) is almost proportional to toner use charge, so the charging data A1 is calculated on the basis of it. When a charged amount of money per unit bit is denoted as (p), a charge amount is calculated from A1=n×p. |
