PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which can be smoothly installed even where a little position deflection exists between substrates, and in which durability is favorable. SOLUTION: In a connector 10D, a contact 14 composed of three parts of a contact part 22 to get in contact with a counter connector, a fixed part 24 fixed on an insulation body 12 of a housing, and a tail part 26 to be connected to a substrate has flexibility, and this contact 14 is held to be fixed on the insulation body 12 of the housing. In this case, the contact 14 is formed of two contact members 16 each composed of two insulation layers 18, 20 having a conductor 19 between them applied to each other to stand, and a protection spacer 41 is provided along length of top part end surface parts of the contact members 16. The top part end surface parts are thus protected by the protection spacer 41, thereby a tough contact which is hard to be damaged can be provided. |
