ELECTRIC DIRECT FLOW BOILER

The boiler can be used in local hot water heatinginstallations. It consists of a compact steel plate cabinet inwhich a boiler body insulated by heat insulation, an operating andemergency thermostat, signal lamps, electric switches, electricboard, water recirculation pump and a safety valve are mounted.The boiler body (2) is in the form of hollow parallelepipeddivided in height in equal-sized heating chambers (15), each twoadjacent chambers having a common partition wall (16) in which apassage hole (17) is made. The holes of every two adjacent heatingchambers (15) are on the opposite sides and are alternating inleft-and-right. On the front wall (18) of body (2) other passageholes are machined across which replaceable U-shaped tubularelectric heaters (19) are mounted. Steel nipples (20) havingcylindrical threading are air-tight fitted on both ends of each ofthem through which two leads (21) of the heater are passed. Ineach chamber (15) one or two tubular heaters (19) are fitted alongits length which are fixed in metal plates (22) having machinedorifices. The nipples (20) of each heater (19) and sealing rings(23) are fitted in them, and on their external side the heatersare fixed to plates (22) by means of steel nuts (24). Individuallyeach plate (22) is secured to the front wall (18) of body (2) bystuds (25) with nuts (26) and a flat sealing (27). Pairs of flatpartitions (28) with a height equal to the height of each chamberare fitted along the length of each heating chamber (15) to itsside walls, symmetrically and at even distances from each other.
