The high clearance vehicle which carries several wine growing work tools (0) comprises a chassis (1) with an inverted U transverse section. The chassis has a central raised part (2) and two side parts (5) carrying several wheels (3,4). Motors (6) are coupled to certain wheels for driving the vehicle and a driving compartment (7,8) is carried by the chassis. A propulsion drive (10) is carried in the chassis central part and connected to supply displacement energy to the motors. The propulsion drive can be adjusted in height on the chassis between a top position, where it totally clears the space under the chassis to allow mounting of the tools, and a bottom position in which it is in this space in order to disengage a loading plate (P). The chassis central part has an opening the top of which is at the same level as the plate in order to form a continuous loading plane.
