PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain scheduling without trouble by identifying data to be downloaded from an information provider to a computer, establishing suppressed ringing connection between the information provider and the computer and downloading the data. SOLUTION: When selection data are identified, a scheduled distribution parameter is found. The information provider holds the record of requested data in a memory but delays the distribution of these requested data until the scheduled distribution time. When it is judged the distribution is suitable, the information provider requests the connection to an exchange system 2. A COSU 50 receives the connection request from a control component through the exchange structure of exchange system and the COSU 50 transmits this connection request to the exchange system 2. The exchange system 2 responds to the connection request by preparing the suppressed ringing connection. Then, data are downloaded. |
