The present invention relates to an insecticide composition comprising: (a) 0.1-10 percent in weight of 2,4-dioxo-1-(2-propinyl)imidazolidin-3-yl chrysathemate, (b) 2.5-50 percent in weight of fatty ester acid of 16-19 carbon atoms, (c) 2.5-30 percent in weight of sorbitan fatty ester , (d) 0.5-1 percent in weight of at least an alcohol which is selected from the group consisting of ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, ethylglycol, diethylenglycol, triethyglycol, dipropylenglycol, butilenglycol and glycerine, and (e) 40-93.5 percent in weight of saturated hydrocarbon of 8 to 18 carbon atoms; an aerosol insecticide composition comprising 5 to 30 percent in weight of the insecticide composition, 40 to 85 percent of water 10 to 50 percent in weight of propellent; and a method for controlling harmful insects which comprises applying the aerosol insecticide composition to the same. The present aerosol insecticide composition is stable, that is, the separation in aqueous phase and in organic phase produces a very slow speed after shaking. Furthermore, the insecticide composition of the present invention is to premix the present aerosol insecticide composition has little problems such as precipitation while it is left to stand and is stable, therefore, it is an adequate initial composition for transport and storage for the preparation of the aerosol insecticide composition of the present invention.
