PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatize work for quality check of an ID card. SOLUTION: An image inspector of an ID card has an imaging means 23 imaging the card prepared with a printer 21, an access means 22 accessing a data of a face image or a character pattern used in preparing the card, a comparing circuit 26 wherein the face image or the character pattern photographed with the photographic means 23 is compared with the data accessed with the access means 22 to datect a difference, and a judgement means 27 judging whether the face image or the character pattern is good or no good based on the detected results.
